Dear Take Down,
Thank you. Here are the before and after photos of my daughters hair
which became severely matted when she was confined in a spica cast for a
femur fracture (break in the upper leg bone). She was in too much pain
to move the first few days so I could not comb the back of her hair. In
a just that short time a large amount of hair had formed into a solid
ball that I could not even begin to get a comb into.
Dear Take Down,
I wanted to write your company and thank you for the Take Down remover it really works well on getting all that sticky bonding glue off my scalp. I get this kind of refreshing sensation. I have really dry scalp and it flakes a lot, my hair was getting so thin.
Thanks again, Sharon- Atlanta,GA
Dear FBB,
I had my hair braided while on vacation in Mexico. After one month, I decided it was time for the braids to come out. Having never had my hair braided in the past, I was completely ignorant about what to do. After unwinding the braids, I figured I would just jump in the shower and wash my hair like normal. What a HUGE mistake that was. Within 10 minutes of showering, my hair sprung up into a wild rats nest! I picked at it for about two hours.
It only seemed to get worse. Although I am almost 40 years old, I called my mother nearly in tears. She came over and yanked and pulled for another two hours. By the time she left, I had two humongous Knots on each side of my head…one about the size of a golf ball (and hard as a rock) and the other, like a flat matted pancake. The worst part was that I still had the top portion of my hair braided which there was no undoing until the knots just below the braided part were gone.
Not knowing what to do next, I got on the Internet to find a solution. Surely, this must have happened to some one else!! What I found on the Internet gave me little hope. What had happened to my hair –spontaneous tangling into huge knots – was commonly referred to as “Birds Nest Syndrome,” a reaction that sometimes happens when chemically treated hair suddenly breaks down and mats up due to stress such as braiding. The only solution…CUT it off. Having had long hair my entire life, the thought terrified me. I went around for three days with my hair tied back with the huge knots in it.
On the third night I was back on the Internet and I found out about TAKE DOWN hair products and FBB Inc. FBB Inc, immediately took care of me. They conference called several TAKE DOWN trained beauticians in California, until we found one in my area. The next morning, I had the product in hand, and I was on my way to Vanda’s Salon in San Jose. Vanda applied the TAKE DOWN cream and patiently picked at my hair. 5 hours later, I had my long hair back. I don’t know how to thank FBB Inc., enough for providing me with such great service, and Vanda for saving my hair with this incredible product.
This is LONG over due, but I wanted to keep my promise. Thank you so much for your help last October 2003! J

Dear Take Down,
I am Korean and I love wearing hair extensions. I like wearing sew-in hair extensions because it protects my hair better. Well after wearing my hair braided under the extensions for 2 months, my hair has a lot of shampoo and oil build up. The removal cream TAKE DOWN works on my hair great. I thought it would only work on black hair. Your shampoo smells so fruity and it makes my hair soft and smells good too. Thanks for shipping my products so fast I thought it would take 3-4 weeks to get it, not 4 days. Continued success.

Dear Take Down,
God Bless your company. My daughter is always crying when I comb her hair. It always gets tangled and matted. She is so tender headed. I soak your TAKEDOWN removal cream on first and comb through her hair, and then I shampoo her hair. Once I’ve done all that her scalp isn’t as tender. I mix the hair lotion and hair oil on her hair to keep it soft. Well thanks for your products; it has made my life much easier. She is my only girl out of 4 boys, so you can imagine my frustration. Continued Success.

Dear Take Down,
Well done! I refused to believe your removal cream could take out my two year old locs. Actually I couldn’t wait to prove your company wrong. It took about a month for me to take out all my locs. I did like 5-10 locs a week (I had to go to work everyday). I feel proud because if I ever decide to loc my hair again-hey I can still salvage all my hair.

Take Down Them Locs By Monica Millner

Most people do not believe that you can remove your locks. Even locs that have been in your head for years can be removed. Gone is the myth that locs are permanent and only removable by cutting them off. Take Down, developed by FBB, is a cream that helps to unravel locs. I used Take Down to remove my locs and now I simply wear my hair natural. My locs were about four years old and cascading down mid-back.
Like many people, I removed my locs to add variety to my style. The only difference is I used Take Down to remove my locs rather than the more drastic cutting off method.
Many people decide against locs, because they believe that removal means cutting hair that they have grown over the years. Starting over for them is not an appealing option.
FBB, the creator of Take Down has alleviated this worry; giving many, the option, of wearing locs for years and changing their style while keeping the majority of their hair length. In fact, when I removed my locs, my natural hair was beautiful. The locs protected my hair, partly due to me only using natural cleansers, conditioners, and oil in my hair.
Plus I twisted my new growth using Aloe Vera Gel. Once the locks were removed with the gentle Take Down cream, my natural tresses were thicker, longer and softer.
FBB has other fabulous products. Natural Shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, etc. These products work well in conjunction with the Take Down cream. They smell wonderful and really work to maintain your hair’s softness and moisture.
Even if your locks are young, cutting a small bit from the end will help you begin loosening the loc. The cream softens the loc and minimizes breakage. Remember, your shredded hair is part of the loc. Therefore, when you unravel your loc, this hair will come out. There is also sebum and unabsorbed product locked into your hair. This build up will come out too. However, the majority of your hair will remain.
Give yourself a week or two to remove your locks, doing as many as possible daily. I suggest working from the edges of the front, sides, and back of your hair. That way, you can pull the unlocked hair back. The hair that shows will look like un-twisted new growth that is groomed and pulled away from your face. The locked hair will extend there from and can be placed in a ponytail, bun or upsweep.
I also recommend using the Take Down shampoo and conditioner, especially on your recently unlocked tresses. The products work well together and will ensure softness and manageability. Wash each unlocked section after you have finished your removal quota for the day. Try not to over-whelm yourself with removing too many locks per day. Pick a daily amount; remove those locks, and cleanse/condition that removed section. Another tip is to moisten your chosen quota in the beginning, then re-moisten each loc before you begin to remove it, thus allowing your loc to soften a longer period of time.
The process does take patience, but is well worth the result! You can maintain the majority of your hair, which is extremely beneficial, especially if you’ve had your locks for years. Good luck, be patient, and use Take Down, the miracle cream.
Dear Take Down
I wear the micro braids with very expensive human hair. I used to always have problems trying to comb through the knots & tangles in my hair after unraveling the braids. I must say I was very skeptical about your products but they work!! The TAKE DOWN removal cream really made my hair soft and moist and the oil in it made my braids unravel faster too. I wanted to just let you guys know that it’s a good product.
Hey when is your company coming out with a styling gel?

Dear Take Down,
Finally a styling wax that isn’t heavy on the hair!!! I wear double strand twists like the one of the girls in your picture. And I hate that clumpy beeswax. Plus your wax gives my hair a nice shine and softens my hair too actually. Thanks

Bonding Glue Extensions and Removal
Hairdresser preparing a weft of human hair extension using bonding glue
A decade ago most hair strands were synthetic, screamed fake and were a definite no-go zone for women wanting a subtle look. These days human hair is widely available and
A hairdresser attaches the human hair extension with the bonding glue to the base of hair
With out using the Take Down Remover will cause lines of balding from ripping out the bonding glue from your scalp.
