TAKE DOWN® Matted Pet Fur Remover detangles your pet’s fur and hair.  It prevents breakage. Pet Fur that has not been brushed or conditioned for long periods of time can become dry and matted together. TAKE DOWN® is a relief from the pain and hassle of combing out knots and clumps of matted fur and tangled hair. It is a gentle cream that penetrates through the fur and softens the hair as you comb.  TAKE DOWN® makes removal of fur mats fast and easy.

Directions: Shake bottle well.  For best results use as much cream as needed.  **Do not bathe your pet until fur is completely tangle and matt free.

1.     Apply cream to fur and hair.  Massage cream deeply into fur and allow to penetrate for 10-15 mins.

2.     Apply more cream to severely matted knots and clumps if needed.  Pull fur apart slowly with metal comb.  Slowly comb through fur until all knots and mats are removed.

Shampoo and condition fur thoroughly. 

Remember to keep your pet calm as you brush. First, let your pet get into a comfortable position… on your lap, on the floor, on the sofa, or wherever he can get comfortable. You don’t want to wrestle your pet during this. If your pet is matted in several places, start de-matting in the places where your pet is most comfortable lying down... Also, do your best to control the cat or dog’s head. Control the head… controls the pet.

Second, pour small amounts of the Take Down cream on each section of matted hair.  Massage in to your pets fur.  Pull the matted clumps of fur apart into small sections with your hands. The matts are easier to remove if they are smaller.  Also this will reduce the amount of fur your pet loses.

Pick and comb through slowly each mat with the steel comb. Be sure to brush with the grain of the fur. Do not pull hard –it will hurt your dog. Use the steel comb to slowly break up the clumps.  As the matts begin to break up, remove the tangles. Start at the end of the fur and work your way closer to the skin as the matts loosen up. If you try to start at the base of the fur, next to the skin, you’ll just end up compressing the matts even tighter.

Take your time. Be patient. Help your dog or cat to remain calm and comfortable. If you’re sitting down to watch TV or a movie that would be a great time to work on the matts.

Cleaning and Preparation

*****Do not shampoo the mane or tail until it  is completely tangle and matt free**** 

Dust, and dirt are the "glue" that  keeps tangled hair tangled, so soaking it with the TAKE DOWN® Matted Pet Fur Remover Cream is the most important first step. Then apply the  cream to  hair, massage cream deeply into hair and allow to penetrate for 10-15 mins. Apply more cream to severely matted knots and clumps if needed massage into roots.   Pull fur apart slowly with metal comb.  Slowly comb through fur until all knots and mats are removed then Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.

The Detangling Techniques:
With the TAKE DOWN® Matted Pet Fur Remover  Cream on the mane there is no need to wet  the mane or tail- whichever you are working on. It is a gentle cream that penetrates through the hair and softens the hair as you comb.  However you can put large amounts of the cream if needed to make the job easy.  Apply directly to the hair with a clean tack cleaning sponge or similar small applicator. Massage the  into the tangles and begin finger combing it- starting at the bottom and working up.

 The TAKE DOWN® Matted Pet Fur Remover  Cream  will soften the hair shafts, which should make it become very smooth and slick and untangle fairly easily. After you finger comb through it, then use your brush to get it all smoothed out.   If you get into matts and tangles that are really impenetrable, a steel comb is  great for breaking up serious dreadlock clumps or matts.  There is no need to use thinning shears, or traditional scissors, they will leave you with a detangled, but choppy looking mane or tail. Even though thinning shears will leave a more natural edge because they have jagged teeth-it still takes up your time and detracts from the natural beauty of your horses hair.

Detangling the horse's hair as much as possible with your fingers, then using the thinning shears parallel with the hair (up and down, not horizontal motions) to scissor into the mat once or twice- then finger comb- then scissor once or twice, then finger comb, etc. TAKES  UP TOO MUCH TIME

Take DownÒ Matted Pet Hair Remover demèle la fourrure, de cheveux  et les poils  de votre animal domestique.  Il previent la cassure des poils.  Les poils des animaux qui n’ont pas été brossés ou conditionnez pendant un long temps peuvent devenir secs et s’emmelés. Take DownÒ est un assuagement contre la douleur et l’enbêtement quand ou peigne les poils noués ou emmelés.  C’est une Crème douce qui penêtre la fourrure et l’adoucit quand on la peigne.  Take DownÒ permet de defaire vite et facilement les poils emmèlés de vos animaux.

APPLICATION: Secouez bien la bouteille. Pour de meilleurs resultants utilisez autant de crème qu’il faut. 

**Ne LAVEZ pas l’animal jusqu’à ce que les cheveux ou ces poils  soient completement desenchevêtrés, demmèlés et sans noeuds.

1.   Appliquez la crème sur les poils, les noeuds emmêlés et cheveux.  Masser profondement dans les poils ou les noeuds et laisser la creme penêtre pendant 10-15 mins.

Pour Cheveaux:  Appliquez la crème partout et en dessours, une setion de cheveux emmêlés, et sur la queue.  Massez la  crème profondement pour 10-15 mins.

2.  Appliquez la crèmeà plusieurs  noeuds ou poils emmêlés qu’il faut.   Enlevez les poils à part avec un peigne metalique.  Peignez doucement les poils jus qu’à  ce que les noeuds et les poils emmêlés soient defaits shampouiiner et meltre de l’apres shampooing entièrement.

Pour Chiens et Chats:   Rappelez-Vous De Garder Votre Animal Calme Quand Vous Brosser

*  Premièrement, mettez votre animal dans une position confortable….sur votre genou, sur la terrasse, sur le canapé ou partout où il est confortable.   Ne luttez pas avec l’animal durant l’operation.  Si votre animal a des poils emmêlés à plusieur endroit, commencez par defaire les noeuds ou les poils emmêlés  aux endroits ou l’animal est couché comfortablement…..Aussi, foutes devotre mieux pour controler la tête de votre chat ou chien.   Controle se tête …controle l’animal.

*  Deuxiènement, versez petite quantité de la crème sur chaque partie où les poils sont enchevêtrés.  Masser dans la fourrure de l’animal.  Enlevez les poils enchevêtrés à part en petites sections avec vos mains.  Les poils emmêlés sont facile à defaire quand ils sont petits.  Aussi, cela reduira la quantité de poils que votre animal perd.

Peignez doucement à  travers les enchevêtrements des poils avec un peigne enacier soyer sûr de brosser les fils des spoils de l‘animal. Ne tirez pas durement. ça fera du mal à l’animal.  Utilizer le peigne en acier pour casser tout les enchevêtrements. 

Comme les mats commencent à se defaire, enlevez les enchevêtrements.  Commencez à la fin des poils et allez sur la peau de l’animal au fur et à  mesure que les enchevêtrements se relachent.  Si vous essayez de commencez à la base des poils et ensuite la peau, vous finirez par compresser encore plus les enchevêtrements. 

Prenez votre temps.  Soyez patient.  Aidez votre chien, chat ou cheval à rester calme et confortable.
